A-FACTORY : The Grain of Joseon, Captured on a Canvas of Light
[조선의 결, 빛의 화폭에 담기다] 전시는 모온컴퍼니가 자체 기획·제작한 IP 콘텐츠로, 울산 장생포 문화창고(A-FACTORY)에서 처음 공개되었습니다. 본 전시는 조선 후기 화가 신윤복의 작품을 모티브로, 전통 회화의 미학과 정서를 AI 기술과 미디어 아트로 재해석한 프로젝트입니다. 모온컴퍼니는 신윤복의 회화를 단순히 움직이는 이미지가 아닌, 빛과 흐름, 공간성을 더한 ‘살아 있는 장면’으로 확장하며 전통 회화를 한 단계 진일보시켰습니다. 정적인 그림은 공간 속에서 자연스럽게 호흡하며, 관람객에게 조선의 한 장면 안으로 들어온 듯한 몰입감을 전달합니다. 특히 원작의 붓결과 감성을 존중한 AI 기반 표현 방식은 전통과 기술의 균형을 이루며, 전시를 찾은 많은 관계자와 관람객들로부터 전통 미술을 새롭게 경험할 수 있는 전시라는 호평을 받았습니다..
[The Grain of Joseon, Captured on a Canvas of Light] is an original IP exhibition planned and produced by Mo-on Company, first unveiled at the Jangsaengpo Cultural Warehouse (A-FACTORY) in Ulsan. Inspired by the works of Shin Yun-bok, a renowned painter of the late Joseon Dynasty, the exhibition reinterprets the aesthetics and spirit of traditional Korean painting through AI technology and media art.
Rather than simply animating classical artworks, Mo-on Company elevates Shin Yun-bok’s paintings into “living scenes” by adding light, flow, and spatial depth. Once-static images begin to breathe within the space, offering visitors an immersive experience that feels as though they have stepped into a moment from the Joseon era. By carefully preserving the original brushwork and emotional nuance of the artworks, the AI-driven approach achieves a refined balance between tradition and technology. As a result, the exhibition has received strong acclaim from both industry professionals and audiences alike as a fresh and meaningful way to experience traditional art in a contemporary context.
